Care2Share App
New North Zealand Hospital is based on social, economic and environmental sustainability and is about to set new standards for healthcare delivery and healthcare design. They wanted us to find a digital solution which would improve the patients experience. As nurses are the key touchpoint on the line of interaction between the patients and the hospital, their well-being is essential when providing a satisfying customer experience. Therefore, we chose to create an app dedicatedfor nurses.

THE CHALLENGE
Create a digital solution to improve the experience
of the patients of new North Zealand Hospital.
OVERVIEW
As nurses are the key touchpoint on the line of interaction between the patients and the hospital,
their well-being is essential when providing a satisfying customer experience.
Therefore, we chose to create an app dedicated for nurses.
SOLUTION
An app that is entirely designed for nurses to interact amongst each other.
It will allow them to share their knowledge, experiences, and thoughts
in a confidential manner, while facilitating their communication.
APP CONCEPT
Nurses will be able to express their emotions and opinions in a supportive and understanding environment. The app will contain feedback from patients about the nurses and the overall hospital.
This feedback will be used to help the nurses develop a better connection with their patients, improve their performance at work and provide motivation for more improved achievements.
As a result, nurses will feel more connected to each other and the hospital as a whole, less emotionally overwhelmed and ultimately more satisfied with their productivity.
PROCESS
First, we conducted a research on nurses and the problems they are facing within their work environment. We also gained deep insights when interviewing several nurses and patients. While developing the concept, we prepared user personas and service blueprints. Each iteration of the design was followed by multiple user testings.
